Our signature parfait

The finest terracess and formal Gardens in all of Columbus, Indiana are yours to wander. There are numerous areas in the Gardens to which you can seclude yourself for reading, a romantic glass of wine, or even a picnic.

Being a bed and breakfast, the first meal of the day is a must! The breakfast menu varies, but may consist of eggs benedict, Belgian waffles with fresh fruit and cream, blintzes, or homemade bagels and quiche. Breakfast is served in the formal dining room with an ornately detailed ceiling from 8:00 to 9:30. Continental buffet breakfast can be made available before 8:00 and until 10:00.

Complimentary fruit, snacks, juice, milk, coffee, and soft drinks are available throughout the day in the Butler’s pantry. Guests will also find freshly brewed coffee on the second floor for easy access in the early morning.

From out Guestbook
"Amy and I have been fortunate to travel to many exotic locations in the world and stayed at many wonderful places. We both consider Irwin Gardens to be one of the top places we have experienced in terms of historical value, top of the line hospitality, a delicious gourmet breakfast, and kindness that warms you up from head to toe."

"The Irwin-Miller house is fantastic! Could easily be one of the best historical sites. As elite as the house is, there is nothing the least bit stuffy about the inn. This is due to the hosts who are very friendly, provide great service and are extremely down to earth and interesting people. Not to mention they make a fantastic breakfast! "
